Glenrowan - F-Open Shooters?

Post by AlanF »

We have 8 shooting F-Open at Rosedale this weekend. Apart from those I can ask at Rosedale, is there anyone else intending to be at Glenrowan? So far I have only one definite. One of the reasons for setting up ozfclass.com originally was to find out who intends going to what - so if you think you will be there if numbers are reasonable then please speak now, and it might snowball. I for one will go if there is likely to be 4 or 5 shooting open.

Things are looking up - we have 5 in Open so far - Paul Read, Bruce Kneebone, Gary Hunt, Rod Mahon and myself. Should be a great contest. Any more takers?

Humble apologies but I've had to change plans and won't make it to Glenrowan. I hope it all goes well.

Yes John, Glenrowan had the notorious Kelly gang. But Queenslanders should not throw stones - you had Joh :D .

...and the legend is that Dan escaped & died in Ipswich, Queensland, hence my little joke about him not turning up for the shoot.

Congratulations to Gary Hunt who won F-Open on both Saturday and Sunday. And to Grant Groves who cleaned up in F-Std.

Regarding numbers in F-Open there were 7 on Saturday which is good, but only two on Sunday. I've been asked to get feedback on an idea to have F-Open on the Saturday only next year, using the Super V, and shooting 15 shot ranges. Does anyone have an opinion on that?
