On the weekend of October 20, the Victorian DRA Teams will be run at Bendigo. There is a welcome new development. F-Open Teams are being included for the first time \:D/ . Sorry to to have to tell all you other DRAs that Gippsland will be there, and we will be very keen to establish ourselves in our rightful place at the top of the order.
I was told 5 in a team, but not sure about the format. Its usually F Teams with TR Ch of Ch one day and vice versa the other day, but not sure which way around.
Alan,
That's interesting. I shot there with my .308 last year. I would like to attend and use my .284 for its first real outing. Do you think that this is a good idea or should I stick with the .308?

Norm - definitely the 284!!
PM sent. Don't want to give away our team secrets to the northerners...
I would think that the teams will be of 5 shooters. My estimations are that there are at least 6 DRA's that could field a team of at least 4 FO shooters and to make up to 5 there is nothing wrong with including an FS shooter. Some might consider that an adulteration but look at the bigger picture-- it could mean the difference between entering a team and not.
This is a long awaited opportunity for FO to get into local team shooting, so come on all you people out there who have so much to say on this forum. Time to stand up and be counted.
I've just read that the course of fire for F-Class this year will 15 shots @ 600yd, 15 @ 700 and 10 @ 900! That applies to both Teams and Champ of Champs. A sensible decision from the target damage perspective, and hopefully a sign of things to come at all major competitions.
