What is the difference ?, both weigh and measure the the same ,J4 jacket, but the hunting projectile is also rated as excellent for target shooting as well as hunting , same BC, jacket thickness ? Chop.

Chopper it’s a marketing thing Berger are trying to capture more of the hunting market
Hunters tend to steer clear of match bullets.

I believe that you'll find that the target projectiles have heavier jacket thickness & the hunting projectiles the older style, lighter jackets.
Eric Stecker wrote of this on one or two web sites some time back. I'll see if I can find a link,
