The NightForce NP-R2 recticle has vertical graduations spaced apart at 2 MOA and horizontal graduations spaced at 5 MOA when the magnification is set at 22X.

This is handy for getting the second sighter into the center of the target as you just adjust the scope knowing precisely how many MOA you need to dial up for center.

I find the fine cross hair and markings unobtrusive and I rarely dial up more than 22X magnification. According to the tests performed on the current pick of the crop variable scopes on 6mmbr.com, the NF 8-32x56BR came out as the best variable power scope overall. The NF 12-42BR came out as the best high power scope tested.

In summary I would say that NF BR scopes come highly recommended and either flavour, 8-32X or 12-42X would suit f-class shooting perfectly. As to the best recticle for f-class shooting, only the shooter can be the judge of that and NF offer up a pretty good variety to pick from!
