I'm thinking if the magnification could be bumped to 2 to 3 times it would make a great F-Class scope. Making the range somewhere between x6-x36 and x9-x52. You could go the whole hog and bump it to x15-x90 and it might still work with a lot of mirage

First Focal Plane (FFP) - less variation the SFP but reticle needs to spot on

Weight at only 23.6oz/669g

Objective Lens - 44mm - don't see a problem unless you're shooting in the twilight.

If Leupold could just bring out a VX-6 version with the corresponding price tag you could justify getting the scope bumped and the reticle modified.

I think the March 3-24x42mm FFP comes close at 640g.
Is there anything else with FFP in the weight range and target category that comes to mind?
