Hello All,
Is there any measurable difference between Lapua 308 Win brass in the
old gold cardboard box versus the new plastic blue box?
I know there was a slight change in 6BR brass neck thickness when Lapua
changed the packaging but wondered if 308 Win may have changed as well.
I'm going back to shooting F Std. next season and have both varieties of brass
to choose from.
cheers,
Chris

You can never carry too much ammo...
unless you are drowning or on fire.

Hi Chris , they should both be to Saami specs . If it were me I wouldn't be too concerned about the different batches being Lapua. Should all be the same . Hope u have fun ! Regards Graham.

Before you mix the two boxes I would weigh a sample from each. The only difference would possibly be weight, other specs 'should' be the same.
