Sorry to the OP for derailing the thread.
I bought heap of ADI last year as a shop was clearing it out, yet to use any though.
My only experience with lap is for 6.5x47.
Peterson and Starline are now offering SRP brass in 308

I had a look at some new starline brass the other week it's as "rough as hessian undies" IMO
i won't be trying any that's for sure....

Sorry to hear about your undies Wal.

What I'm wanting to hear is some proven advice from proven results that we don't need to be buying Lapua brass to shoot consistently well ? If not guess I better stick with Lapua.

I haven't been impressed with the standard of recent lap brass. Dimensions are all over the place not just between batches but within the same box. I like perfect brass. . . . . If you have a good barrel and you match it with good brass then you have a consistent platform to work everything else off of.

I had a look at Peterson but this stuff looks to be gaining a pretty good following as a "premium" alternative to lap. http://alphamunitions.com/ I put an order in with the oz distributor and will hopefully see it in a few weeks.

I got this from Alpha themselves “It will be available soon. We are waiting for final approval from the USA State Department to export to Australia.”

Things often may not be as they seem ?

Surely one of the ongoing toughest things in this game is working out what's real from what's BS ?

That test is not worth the paper it was written on.... weight variances to 20 cases from same box and neck wall thickness done with calipers, come on seriously...... ](*,)
Article is BS
