Any FCWC Team members who go (too) well will be asked to put that barrel in the cupboard immediately and finish the Queens with something else [-X . (especially Dave Mc) :D

Update - almost there.

Post by ecomeat »

The full Equipment List is almost "on-line". I got responses from most F Open shooters and 8 or 10 FTR shooters that I gave forms to.
I simply didnt have time to chase all FTR and F Standard shooters because i was trying to compete in F Open myself.

I have finished collating the info collected, and putting it into a Spreadsheet, so we just have to give Alan time to get home (which will hopefully be later today) and he will get it online asap.

Up to about Alan Fraser it is, though I was missing Stuart Braund.
After Alan they are not in any order.

If Daves barrel from the queens wasnt his barrel to run in Raton, I would hate to be shooting against him there...

Yeah the results are interesting.
Seems that there is starting to be a bit of a bottleneck at the top end.
Almost everyone is using a 7mm at between 2800 and 3000 fps with 180gn Bergers. Its almost like it is becoming another “Standard” competition but with 7mm instead of .308 calibre.

i did notice in the list the use of a norenco action in conjunction with a nippondenso trigger.
perhaps this combination in 8 x 64 brenneke would be worthy of investigation.
keep safe,

The equipment list questionnaire is obviously take less seriously by some, but if thats what the shooter puts on paper, then i couldnt be bothered wasting more of my own time and trying to chase them up. I thought I should just share the humour, as written.

Maybe its an F/TR thing ?
