Well done on getting all the information you need from F-Class shooters then telling us you don't like our sport...

There was one Bartlien 8 twist 243 heavy varmint left in stock so I bit the bullet and purchased it.
I am going to have Mr Paroz fit it and am also considering going with a barrel block laminate stock.

Going slightly off topic....

Barrel blocks ?? Thumbs up or down?
Thinking the big 30" barrel will be pushing the friendship for the omark?
I am probably going to use the rifle for fly matches and private property more so than fclass.
I am not particularly interested in Sydney's fclass facilities so have stayed away from The sport.

Lastly..
Would you happen to know if Matt Paroz bead blast barrels ?

Matt can either keep the shiny polished appearance of the barrel, or give it a matte finish if you prefer.

Lol ease up.

I love the sport.
The time I spent living on the Sunshine Coast I was spoiled with Belmont and north arm .
Now I am back home in Sydney Anzac is too far away and Hornsby shoots while I am at work.

I will rephrase

I don't like the 1.25 hours driving and $50 in tolls to shoot fclass in Sydney :)

Apologies if I sounded against fclass. Far from the case.
Just not really a viable option for me at the moment

I regularly visit Mudgee and attending some of their fly matches will be a nice break from the farm

Try cessnock. They shoot Saturday arvos if that helps. There's a few guys on here that shoot there.

Sorry if I went off half-cocked there. Its just that this forum has a generous culture of giving technical help to others, and if its seen to be going to people who don't appreciate it then it could cause some to stop helping. In your case I'm glad to hear you'd be shooting F-Class if it was easier to get to.

All good Alan ,

I cried myself to sleep that night but I am now slowly trying to rebuild .
Its going to be a journey but I'm sure I will get there .

Honesty this site is by far the best source of technical/practical information.
There is some good stuff on the fly site also but I find those guys don't consider budgets and also tend to skin their cats the one way.

:D :o
