Well looks like I finally resolved the elevation issue. Seems it was the seating of the projectiles - in the end I pushed the projectiles in by another 20 thou, so it appears I had them jammed in pretty long. The projectiles are now just kissing the lands and funnily enough all the elevation issues have stopped.

So I have learned a valuable lesson that when starting a new batch of projectiles, always check seating depth before going hell for leather and of course "anoint" the barrel !
