Agree Brad. Long range accuracy has different requirements compared to point blank BR.
Just need to work on Marty's attire now..

Crocs and shorts are just about standard attire! Must admit the crocs are very comfy footwear, Ive been embracing them for a while now.

Hey, I have seen a picture of Peter in shoes. Of course I swore they were photo shopped.
Off topic, but I see that they have dispensed with the 300y/m stage in FNQ, I wonder when other States will do the same?
Anyhow, have fun up there in tropical paradise fellas, I wish I was back up there on a cold autumn night down here.

Weather was windier today, but with some very easy patches again. Consequently the field is still fairly close at the top although Marty is looking pretty solid. Forecast is for the same tomorrow, and with just 800 and 900m to go, it'll be all over by about 2pm I'm guessing.
BTW the results are being posted on the NRAA website by the two ladies in this photo, Jean on the left and Julianne on the right. I'm sure you'll agree they're doing a great job.
I don't have enough signal at the range so you'll need to look HERE . Ill be back for wrap-up tomorrow night and have started collecting an equipment list which can be posted then.

I can assure you there is a lot of fun going on at the range at night Rod. I had to escape to a remote caravan park. We are missing the likes of you and Dave Mc to chase. Although Marty isn't doing a bad job at leading the pack. Might see you at the Nationals perhaps?

Alan, I am kind of over the shooting side of things, but miss those nights out we had at the Sydney Queens, you know the teen escorts in the Jacuzzi, the quaffing champagne out of the butt cracks of G string clad "entertainers" at that club in the cross, the snorting of HBN though $100 bills at the club bar at the range, the TVs thrown though hotel windows etc etc etc. Then again, I still miss the FNQ shoots, with their thigh slappin hoedowns and square dances around the camp fire.

This range looks beautiful. I'd love to shoot there. What are the concrete mounds like to shoot off? Do the front rests move around?
