The rankings are updated. In F-Open Rod has extended his lead to a rediculous amount - the only hope I have of catching him is to change the rules e.g. how about zero blood alcahol?

In F-Std, Ernie's not going to be easy to catch either - he shoots at a consistently high level in big fields. Rod Mahon might be feeling the pressure soon - he'll be hearing that fire engine siren going past before too long I reckon

This was my first Canberra experience.... and well it was an experience. Especially shooting a 6 dasher all the way. Great weekend away shooting.
Congrats to Rod on another outstanding win.

You shot very well Michael. I say that because you finished ahead of the renowned Canberra expert, Spencer Dunstall. Using a Dasher all the way is not always ideal, but that Queens has been won with a 6mm all the way on at least two occasions that I know of, and also with 223s in F-Std.

To do as well as he did with a 6 Dasher IN THIS YEARS CONDITIONS was a great effort. A 6 Dasher won last year and could have won if conditions stayed like they did on day 2, but the conditions we had on day one and three had me thankful I had a 284. Even Bob Eager, one of the best 6 Dasher shooters in the country switched to his 7mm for the conditions we had. Next time we see Michael, Matt will have finished his 284 and we will be in trouble.
Don't worry though Michael, Canberra is not always like it was this year, but then it is Canberra, it often is.

Well done on a great shoot. Rod and Mark showed us all how it was done.
Canberra lived up to its reputation, and dished out some beatings to those that did nothing more than just turn up to shoot.
I did however have one great outcome, in that I proved that my 284W could finally shoot a great group (60.9). All thanks to Hunty's fine armoring, he got rid of the hollow end in my barrel and the rifle went from shooting 1 or 2 supers, to 9!
I'm impressed with the look of those Belts. Nice touch ACT RC!
I'll be back again next year, please ask the wind gods to be a little kinder next time

It was an experience I have heard lots about ACT Range and it lived up to its reputation. You think that you are stumbling along ok but then you see howe it's actually done and you realise that you are way off the pace.Like you Mike I think that the belts for Fclass is a step in the right direction. It was interesting to see that some of the scores shot in FTR weren't all that different at times to Fopen. With luck we might have better luck next year..
Thanks Michael H
