Yes, I thought it looked a bit dodgy/messy/unsafe to me. Brings back memories (same equipment) from my bullet casting days - dealing with super hot liquid.
I'll stick with my good old Bench Source. Reasonably finitely adjustable results, quick (I ran 100 cases thru in 13 minutes the other day), and no hot fluid cooling down for some time after completion.

Yeh, my main concern would be what the salt would be doing to the brass.

Salt Bath heat treating of steel is a major use for this process. Many Salt mixtures traditionally used Cyanides. It a very reliable and efficient - especially for large numbers of items. But the temperature control in steel treatment are far more stringent and often go to much higher temperatures than for Brass so it hardly seems very sensible for cartridges. You also need a lot of care for safety.
Also, I doubt that many will be able to source nitrates these days. The world has changed a lot in the last 20 years - especially in Australia - when it comes to buying in chemicals. Nitrates are eagerly sought after by terrorists. You could get on a watch list trying to get them.
