Ok , it’s finally time to find the safe keys and to blow the dust off the old girl (7-08 ai ) and try and get some rounds on target and have a crack again ! Who going ?? Crows Nest is one of those more difficult shooting across a gully ranges ! Not my favourite as it has given me a good hiding at times ! Anyway Back to reloading ! Regards Sellsy.

Fantastic to see a shooting event sponsored by the local Heritage bank. They have got my money and after seeing this, that’s the way it’s going to stay.

https://www.results.nraa.com.au/c-n-g-r-c-2022-results/ Wow what a day it was must have been gusting into the 15 mph range ! Well I had a ball and the lil 7-08 ai held its own . I think I may have even cracked the HILL OF PAIN ( 600 ) .Thank you Crowsnest for such well run event ! The New Ro did a great job with the usual challenges of a prize meet !
Photo Attached of tgt 6 , which I would like to thank for the generous marking at the first 500 yds . I’ll have to buy ya a box of batteries! ( Very chopping conditions at times !)

Hi Frans , was great to see you too and also catch up with the shooting family! Yep conditions were very unstable at times with a patch of good here and there . On the hill of pain , I should have shot with both eyes open and checked every shot before releasing the shot ! As the wind was full value and then would flick to about 8 o’clock and sent 3 of my shots high ! Yes there were some good hits with a young Hamish getting a 60.8 on the hill of pain !! All in all I had a ball and I didn’t get kicked off the range for sending 3 zeros down ! It pretty much just came back to me . But obviously you can’t get away with long periods awayand expect to be at your absolute best ! Also congratulations to Bill O’Brien with his first win in Fo with of course! A 280 Ai ! Wilddog was also using a 280 ai . And congratulations to my Awesome former Qld Teamie Brian potter for taking home the bacon ! He’s shootings really well ! So watch out Teams lol! G Man !!
