Anyone out there shooting a BRX, what velocity are you seeing and what dies are you using, may go have a go at FO and looking at using this caliber.

BRX reloading dies

Post by bartman007 »

I'm currently using Redding dies.

The dies are specifically 6mm BR, and the decapping/necksizing die has a TiN collet in it.

The seating die is also 6mm BR, and is a competition model. i.e has the micrometer adjuster on the end.

I'm not looking to Full Length resize, however carefull use of the 6mm BR full length die should get the case back to an easily chambered BRX. Remember the BRX is a few mm LONGER in the body, and requires fire forming.

Chris
The big plus with the BRX is there's no new dies needed, and does everything the dasher can do, I may well stick with the straight BR yet.
