Help needed in WA

Post by Lynn Otto »

Hi everyone and especially our WA members.

Our young fledgling has left the nest, Michael is now based in Perth, a long way from home and feeling a bit on his own in a big city. He is currently boarding so is unable to have his rifle sent over, something we will do when he has a place of his own. I was hoping that one of the Perth based clubs may have a club rifle that he could perhaps use in the short term so that he can at least get out to a range and get to know some people. Obviously he will need to transfer his licence etc to WA as well so information on getting this done would also be great.

He is currently shooting TR and we can send his jacket etc over but he is a very capable F Class shooter and would be more than happy to slot into a club shooting F Class.

If anyone in WA has any suggestions it would be most appreciated.

Thankyou in advance
Lynn

Hey Lyn,

Looks like Michael turned the wrong way when he got out the front gate!!!
We will have him here any day.

Indeed, sadly work is what makes the wheels go round, and that is what has taken him to Perth, it was too good an opportunity to ignore. I'm glad that he and Trev got to your shoot, they both had a great time there.

Hi Lynn

I'm sure Michael will be most welcome at any club in WA. I know our club has club rifles for TR and F class and others may do too. I'll pm my contact details so you can pass them on to Michael. I should be able to get him organised for some shooting at Swanbourne OK.

best regards

Although in WA we are one of the rural clubs.

Just wish to welcome Michael to the best side of the island. Will no doubt catch up with him on a range somewhere.

Queens is coming up in September.

You got that rifle shooting straight yet Mark?

:D This must be correct since after only two days Michael commented that Perth definitely had more 'nice young ladies' than Melbourne.
