Its 12:30pm and no results yet from the Syme. In case results are sluggish over the next few days, is there anyone who can e-mail (webmaster@ozfclass.com) photos of F-Class results from the results notice board please?
Sorry to say I won't be there for leadup or Queens. I hope its a great event for all those attending.

Yes well done to both.
The situation with Dennis not being in A Grade is puzzling. On their own his recent performances at the Queensland, NSW and ACT Queens rate him at about 97% grading average. I'm not in any way criticising Dennis - its apparently a limitation of the calculation system that he finds himself remaining in B grade when his Queens series performances are consistently at good A Grade level. It seems the system is in need of refinement.
Yep,Dennis is a great bloke, don't have a bad word to say about him. Couldn't get a better person to share a target with. Good to see him hammering the 6 ring.
The "F" class grading system is fundamentally the same as has been used for TR in WA for over 30 years. Remember that it is calculated over the last eight shoots. We also seem to remember the good performances rather than the "others". My personal opinion is that using "A/B" gives perceptions about the ability of shooters, whereas a divisional system, (cut the field in half) does not do this. The grading is not as yet "national", and I'm sure it will all be good in time. By the look of the Syme scores on day one the weather was "apple pie". New shooters of all disciplines need time to learn to shoot in all conditions, not just the easy stuff.
Syme is Run and Won. Congratulation to Spencer in F Open, Nice win. Also to Rodney Mahon in FTR and John Eland in F STD "A".
I was planning on being down there tomorrow, not to shoot but to get picture and interview a few people, but work has decided to send me away at the last minute.
