Laminated stock info for a new shooter please.

Post by MCLE »

Hi all I'm after some help please for my Nephew. He is keen on giving Fclass a go and is going to press gang he's 223 into service. So nothing new there we all started small and worked our way up.He has a Howa 223 heavy barrelled Varmint. Now we have spoken about the limitations with the Length of the Barrel. ( 26inch I think) and the barrel twist but it is shooting 69 gr ok so 600y will probably pull it up but shoot what you have. So this brings me to my question that l am asking for him.Does one of you out there know of someone who would make a laminated Fclass stock for this type of rifle.Yes I can always go to my smithy and we may well do this but he is so flat out so l thought I might start here first.l thought that one of you guys may have a lead on where someone who dose this type of thing may well be. Thanks
Michael H

Give Brad at gunstockz.com a call, he has many different patterns and can customize individual stocks.

Jerome ziersch has some stock profiling machine and might be willing to rough out a stock for you to finish yourself or he can definately do an excellent job of fully in letting, bedding and clear coating.
