Barrel question
Hey guys. I'm looking at rebarrelling in the next few months. What would the f std members recommend. I'm looking at running the 155 hybrids and the 155.5s.

Re: Barrel question
If those are the only bullets your going to shoot I would run a 1-12 twist.
But.....
Why limit yourself to only 155gr. bullets if shooting FTR? I would go at least a 1-10 twist. This will give you the option to run any bullet weight you want for the most part.

Re: Barrel question
I shoot the 1 in 12 twist that I have in 2 barrels chambered in M892 (Maddco and Pacnor). Both shoot Berger Hybrids and Sierra 2156, but, neither like the Berger Palma 155.5, nor does my Krieger 1 in 13 (Palma 95 chamber) which prefers 2156's.
Berger Hybrids actually 'require a 1 in 12' if you check recommendations.
In seeking ultimate accuracy, twist and chamber for 155's often dictate what projectile 'you' will have chosen for you 'by the barrel'.
Some combinations actually prefer the Berger Palma to other projectiles.
