Yes, no doubt there are other stories out there.
While marking at the World Champs in 2013 I was hit in the back of the neck by a rock from the back stop. Luckily I had my back to the back stop when this happened as people either side of me heard the wizzing sound of the rock at high speed.
It drew blood. We were required to wear safety glasses over there.
Just shows what can happen

Someone hit the spotter peg at 600 in Brisbane with a lot of force did they ????

Was big Mark shooting at the time???

I always wear safety glasses when shooting, but in the pits where bullets are flying overhead would also be a good idea.

Looks like a remnant of the spotter pins they used at Raton,a hard plastic thing,when a bullet hits them it is like a bomb going off.
