so im just taking up small bore, full bore target rifle and f class. im buying an old anschutz and i have an omark in a mastin thumbhole stock. id like to get the 2 rifles feeling as similar as i can so i shoot in the same position. also changing from peep sights to a scope means i want to be able to adjust the cheek piece. im looking at making both the stocks adjustable for length of pull and cheek hight. then after using an alloy stock on the weekend would i be better off selling the mastin stock and buying a cronk. i dont really care what it looks like just i dont find the thumb hole that comfortable and would be making changes to it anyway. plus getting all the adjustable hard wear will be a tad over 500 dollars so i would only need 400 for the mastin to break even.
is a mastin stock worth that much considering its for an omark

Re: stock dilemmas
Is the Mastin stock for sale ? I use a Cronk stock for my Omark and have been happy with it. They are a no frills stock but they do work well. I have a spare Omark set up for 223 that would look very nice with a Mastin stock. If possible some photos of the stock would be great.

i dont think it is any more. i shot it for the first time in target rifle and found it much more comfortable than with a bipod
