I am looking at filming some footage of my borescope images
I have seen other post with footage and just wondering how you get the camera on the bore scope.
I am using a Hawkeye with a angled eye piece. I was thinking of using my Gopro but not sure how well this will work
Any setups that have worked well and could be shared with me would be appreciated
Thanks
Peter

Re: Filming Bore scope images
I have managed to get quite a few passable images that i have put on this forum by using a small digital camera.
I press the lens firmly against the eye-piece, put the zoom lens on full(10 x) power, so it's fully extended and then take photos with the flash off.
Realistically I probably have to delete 90% of the photos that I take. You will get the hang of it, but the zoom lens has to be absolutely centred on the eyepiece of the Hawkeye to get a useable photo.
I also have the LED upgrade on the Mini Maglite light source, and the bright white light from the LED makes an enormous difference compared to the shitty dull yellow light from basic Maglite supplied. Get the LED Upgrade off EBay for about $25 ex the UK
I look forward to seeing your handiwork !
