Best case tumbler

Post by Brad Y »

Looking for a new tumbler. I've been through 3 of them in the last 8 or so years, Lyman I think black with orange lid. They just get to the point the motors just make noise and won't spin around. One caught fire I believe from doing this. So need something that is going to last. Suggestions appreciated.

Still running a medium sized Dillon that I purchased 20 odd years ago. Worried me initially as the motor runs mighty hot but is still going strong.

I decided that I had nothing to lose by trying to dismantle and take a look. Turns out those motors and bearings don't appreciate dust! A cleanout and wipe down then re lube the bearings with ballistol has it working wonders again and nice and quietly too. Going to need to be wary of it in the future
