Re: March 10-60x52

The body was bent so I had it replaced and went with the tactical type because of the bigger turret knobs.
It’s good to have a scope serviced periodically anyway.

Re: QRA Queen’s

Thanks for the report Graham
Always good to hear from someone who’s there!
Keep up the good work
74 sling shooters and 80 with scopes
I’m guessing a few of our senior brothers opted out due to the Kung flu
Looks like a great comp happening

Re: QRA Queen’s

Well done Peter Carter for F open
Dropping one point for 3 ranges
Only 2 points between 1st and 10th
Looks like a tough comp coming up!
Any news from the range?
A few made it there from interstate too

Re: Hello everyone

Hi Len Welcome to the club It will be well worth reading up in the tech section on all facets of this sport and I don’t think you will find a better resource for that anywhere! The advice usually given to a new chum is to attend the club and shoot the club rifle to start with, then see what everyone...

Re: Scopes - FFP or SFP for F Class

On the subject of hash marks I prefer a plain crosshair and dot and use the target rings as aim off marks.
I’ll adjust for elevation during a shoot but usually hold off for wind.
Each to their own but I like things simple as possible 8)

Re: Scopes - FFP or SFP for F Class

SFP scopes are fine for F class, the fine reticule at high power is best- the FFP is more for for sniper stuff - no disrespect meant by that comment.
I don’t know if anyone uses a FFP scope in F class.
