ACT Queens

Hi All, Only a bit over 3 weeks to go till the ACT Queens. I'm planning to get there, hopefully there will be a good turn out! Better get your holidays approved or do a quick build up of brownie points to get the OK :) I guess it will be on ETs? Either way it's good to get away shooting. So who's go...

Re: Wet Moly

Hopefully this fixes the flyers, unless you’re shooting open :)
It would be interesting to know what percentage of us are using moly! (Pol -Alan?)
I have a 6 dasher I use with moly for short range but not my 7 saums for long range.

Re: Loan of a flex pod

Chris I think the idea with the flex pod is to shoot it with some shoulder pressure so not free recoil. Geoff I accept your challenge you filthy Victorian. We might have to fight this duel at the SA Queen’s as I won’t have a barrel till December :D Quick draw at 30 paces with 8.25kg FTR rifle ...

Re: Loan of a flex pod

Well Barossa- that settles it! A flex pod is the way to go  I like camping in the rain and doing some other things not many do but it’s all about the adventure Rod Mahooon uses one and his sanity has only been questioned a few times. Chris I’ll be watching you new product with interest Good on ...

Loan of a flex pod

Hi All,
Project 300 and something.....
I’m building an FTR gun and would like to try a flex pod before buying one just to try it.
If you have one gathering dust I’d be keen to have a loan/hire
Here’s hoping :)
Thanks
Tim

Re: Grains or grams?

I’m more than happy with using grains as the measure, as you say the A&Ds are accurate to the kernel! Which is probably more accurate than needed my question was more for the benefit of someone who may think there’s more accuracy in grams to 3 decimal points rather than grains to 2 decimal points.

Grains or grams?

What do you use?
Someone stated they use grams not grains as they loose resolution.
1gn = 0.064g
You might get 1 more decimal place with grams but is there much difference?
My small brain prefers grains as that's what most of us talk in.
