Re: RUN TOO FAST?

Or as some seem to think, just shoot really fast that way you don't have to read conditions !!    Awww, come on Matt, you and I and other shooters who can shoot fast know that that is not true. There is more to it than that, shooting quick (and well) usually means picking...

Re: 7mm RSAUM Reamer Questions

Dan That dia @ the 0.200 is fine and will work with off the shelf dies, my reamers are that and work very well with most batches of Norma brass and off the shelf sizing dies. The only real change I would make to that print is to lengthen the FB and tighten the neck a little (measured some brass and ...

Re: 7mm RSAUM Reamer Questions

The minimum you can get away with 183's SMK's is 0.170" with a 1.5 degree lead. The problem with the short FB is if the barrel doesn't like 183's it's too short for 180 Bergers, which really need around the 0.220" for the VLD's and around 0.200" for the Hybrid.

Re: 7mm Cartridge Predicament

Hi Dan I think the SAUM would be your best option, at best you would lose about an inch of barrel depending on how much wear in the barrel and how long the tenon thread is and if your smith is happy to "pick up" the existing thread if required. Depending on the length of the thread I'd sug...

Re: Cutting fluid

I use a flush system with Castrol Ilocut 170, I’ve run out and now using Rigid dark cutting fluid. The Rigid is pretty good but looking forward to the Ilocut becoming available.

Re: Jongmans Action

Is the $2600 for the action only ?? If so go the Barnard path, RRP for a PE action with trigger $2123. I've had a few Jongmans through my shop and some of the issues I've seen, could never recommend one. In fact I'd recommend an Omark with an adaptor over it. Give me a call if you'd like any more in...

Re: NSW F Class Website

I see that the NSWRA website has been updated recently, however it could do with some more of the information that is on the Fclass site, and it doesn’t have links to all NSW club’s websites. Also the Festival of Sydney program is now available - https://bcrcnewsandinfo.yolasite.com/resources/FoS%2...

Re: Kock up, can it be fixed ?

It's Christmas,( or more commonly called the silly season), so it's makes me feel a little better. I have a F open rifle that shoots pretty good, but my understanding of precision reloading is basic, I have dedicated area for reloading but in reality it's just a seat in a shed with a press and stuf...
