Re: The Future

Maybe that's a new marketing campaign for the vra and the nswra ( I know rhat you can't shoot on a range in nsw if target isn't ticked on your licence ) to make sure that you tick target on your renewal or new licence application.

Re: The Future

Cheers D I'm gathering this is the question you asked? I didn't personally answer it simply because I'm in Queensland and have never sh...

Re: Problems with CCI 450s

I'm still using federals since last post and still no miss fires. Can the Barnard firing pins be adjusted? Someone told me there is a Barnard firing pin with washers like the RPA for sale, any idea who is selling them. Trevor Have you measured your pin protrusion ? I haven't seen a Barnard out of s...

Yeh, my main concern would be what the salt would be doing to the brass.

Re: 2019 LRWC AND PALMA

If you have ever wondered about the pre-eminence of coaches in team rifle shooting, look at Australia's dominant win. The returns achieved by our coaches placed them 1, 2, 3 and 4. How can that be beaten? Simply an outstanding victory which will be forever at the forefront of Australian Target Shoo...

Awesome stuff Australia

Aussies win the Palma for the first time since 1988 by my calculations, by 77 points. When you consider that England has won it every year since except once (South Africa), we should be very proud of our me and women in NZ. Individual scores saw Lee Robinson top score for us in third overall with Ma...

Re: Australians at the TR World Champs/Palma

If my maths are right, a 77 point win. Our first since 1988 and England's 2nd defeat since. South Africa is the only other country to beat them since.

Re: Australians at the TR World Champs/Palma

We're now 45 points in front with 1000 to go. We've also got 6 out the top ten individual scores with Mitchell Bailey leading. He hasn't dropped a piont.

Re: Electronic targets and new range designs

By keeping the the hundred year old design at north arm, after going full electronic, we were able to to keep shooting after some of the components were pinched. After changing the weights, we could still use paper targets behind the mantlet and keep shooting until the new parts turned up 8 weeks la...

Re: Jongmans action

Um, I don't know how on my phone. But both Matt and Keith commented on how they both had one come through their shops with broken locking lugs on the bolt. That's enough for me.

Never mind, I just found an old thread on the same subject. Matt and Keith answered the question for me already on it.
