Re: Practical Rifle traing course

If you want training in PRS style practical rifle, there are several offering training. I would make sure whoever is offering the training has a good pedigree in the sport as there seems to be more and more popping up offering training, and its very early days for some it seems like. Location might ...

WTS - Nightforce 12-42 with NP-2DD reticle

Selling a BR series 12-42 with NP-2DD reticle. In my opinion this is the best reticle in the Nightforce lineup, and makes windage holdoffs pretty easy. This scope has only ever been mounted on a target rifle in Kelbly rings. There are a few minor scuff marks on the scope, but its in great condition....

WTS - LEFT hand Stiller Python

I imported this action in 2002 and had the rifle built in 2003, but have only shot it once since 2008. The rifle shoots very well. I have mainly used it for 500 meter fly and one F Class match. I shot a 500 meter Fly target of 59.2 which was the National record for several years. I have been shootin...

Re: Left hand Farley Rest

No. Definitely would not consider $750. It is old, but all the internals of the joystick operation have been completely rebuilt, so brand new. And this one is available now, don't know when you would see a new one.

Left hand Farley Rest

This Farley rest is the original design and was one of the first in Australia in the mid 2000s. I had all the internals rebuilt to the current standard by BRT in 2012 and I have not used the rest since. The rest has signs of wear, but everything operates fine. Comes with Farley carry bag. I can post...

Re: US prices on Jewell makes one want to cry

Its always funny to see US shooters complaining about the prices of bullets, barrels, powder, petrol, etc. The only good news is that we are not in as bad a position as the South Africans

Re: Australia does well at the World Benchrest Championships

Rod Thanks for posting this. Just a small point of order - Murray came 3rd overall in the individual results. All the match results can be found here: http://www.wbc2015usa.com/ Incidentally, Murray also won the Heavy class at the NBRSA Nationals which was run at the same range preceding the WBC. Th...

Re: Action timing

Fergus- BAT's also have the luxury of the adjustable trigger hanger for timing too. Bordens come timed with a trigger. Im expecting a new multiflat action to arrive shortly from pierce. My previous round pierce was way out when I introduced a kelbly trigger to it. Another gunsmith (no longer workin...

Re: Action timing

Peter van Meurs was doing action timing before he retired. Several of my Bats needed timing work done, though I have several Bats that did not.

Re: Barrel Tuners

Its not a clamp or glue on as it requires a threaded muzzle, but I would be using a Buckys tuner. Paul Sullivan brings them in: http://www.topgunmfg.com.au/

I would not be using anything but a threaded muzzle style tuner myself.
