Haha. I was thinking about the same for the Queens. Throw a scope on the Barnard and go for gold.

Well done to Peter Carter
60:10 @ 800 yds
Just watching some of the 900 yd match and it looks rough!

Re: Nraa queens
Numbers would be down on last year as the Australian F Class Teams were practising around that time.
Good to see some great shooting. The Hexta system is proving how good the online results/plots are!
It seems a couple of notable FTR shooters are spending time helping out others --> 6 points is a lot to make up!

Well done to Brett and other winners
Now can we get a report from the coal face of conditions and any incidents you might like to share?
Even some pics would be nice.
I’m thinking Matt might be checking the rules about fitting a magazine just to speed things up a little, Will the bar takings be greatly reduced because of the absence of a certain world champion?
Is anyone complaining about the machine gunners
Give us some idea of what’s going on

Tim
No need for a mag will problably slow me down. Havent heard any bitching yet but to be honest don't care if they do, if it so much of an advantage they can go fast too. I guess I could wait for a change that might blow me out then fire another sighter just to keep them all happy. Conditions have been pretty good really the most I had on was 2.5 @ 900, bit tough during the middle of the day when it's not sure where it wants to blow from.

Re: Nraa queens
Hi Tim,
Wind was down range for the 900 & 1000 from about 11 through to 1 O'Clock. Peter C, had about 1 to 1.5 MOA when he shot, but I had from 1/4 to 3/4. (Yes there is or was squadding, but it is a little messed up come the final range, not that it had a bearing on the results, IMO)
Yes, bar takings are down this year, along with attendance. The QRA are currently reworking the budget due to the reduce takings in the bar.
There was some controversy at the 1000. "B.S." was called on one F Open shooter as he did not want to win the lead up, as it would put the "Voodoo" on him for the main event. Several people thought that a carton of beer as a fine would be suitable punishment for dropping several shots.......
Other than that it is fairly quiet, but lets see what tomorrow brings.

Thanks for the feed back!
I did watch one of your shoots Craig and from memory it was about 3/4 X ring elevation with a tad more sideways movement...

Re: Nraa queens
I will say from an F/TR point of view its tough going. I dropped a ton at 1000. Gotta work on some gun handling issues and just focusing on a few things. Wicked fun but. Will see me over east alot more next year shooting queens.
Awesome fun shooting with everyone. Just forgot how tough this range is at times.
