QRA Queens
Has Queensland seceded from the NRAA results system? Nothing there for this year's Queens or 2017.

Thanks.
I've seen the results there and on the QRA website. What I was curious about is why the last two years aren't in the NRAA system and for 2016 only the Duncan, Queens and Grand aggregates. In particular I wonderd if this meant the Qld Queens scores don't go into the grading system.

Wow. Didn't realise it was on. Some great performances.
A remarkable situation in Open where the 3 most recent winners of this event finished 1 2 3 in a close one. Well done Adrian Siebel .
And another one in F-Std, the top 3 from the recent NRAA Queens finished top 3 again, another close one. Well done Nick Williamson .
And in F/TR a clear win to Daryl Barlow, 3 yrs after winning the same event. Well Done Daryl .

Haha, in FSA, 1st, 2nd and 3rd were 11,12 and 13 points dropped respectively in both the National Queens and the QRA. With very similar X counts too. Fun fact.
Bearing in mind Nationals was a 9 match comp, one being a 15 shotter.
Special mention of Tony Berry's 1st day back after a couple of years off, finished day 1 with a clean sheet.

My scores went into the grading system for last year. Maybe just t/r shooters were worthy of it.

It's my understanding the results will be uploaded from Hexsystems into the NRAA system for grading, but they will not appear on the NRAA Results page. If you check the shooters individual grading they will appear in the list of events that the shooter has been graded on.

Re: QRA Queens
Firstly thanks to the QRA for a well run event.
And to the weather God thankyou for WARM/DRY/AWESOME days away from Victoria.
Well done to the winners, as the conditions were tricky at times.
As for the F-Std / F-Open competition, yes the F-Std guy's did perform well. However, as we know it doesn't take much in F-Open for a rifle to go off the boil (no excuses here).
I had a 280AI which was humming before I left, however the elevation suffered in the lead up and 1000 yard challenge match left me running the 6.5x47L for the entire Queens. Bugger!
A great time to catch up with friends, and enjoy the time off work.
Mark Fairbairn ran around and organised a team shoot ran after the Duncan event, with composite teams of TR/FSTD/FO/FTR. This was a lot of FUN, and by allowing any mix of state to create a team, meant it was easy to field teams!!! I hope other states include informal team shoots during their events, with flexibility in team makeup to make it easy for participants to field a team. Well done Derry on your 60.8
