Re: ACT Queens
2nd range
Conditions are interesting...
We’re moving back to 600 for a 15 shot match.
Looks like the weather will stay reasonable.

Re: ACT Queens
Called in to say hello to a couple of club members who are shooting and there were plenty of shooters dropping the odd point here and there with the wind drop offs which seemed hard to read. Conditions are forecast to be more difficult tomorrow so best of luck to everyone competing.

6mm has been retired, now I’m having “fun” with a saum
Great to see a good turnout for this shoot

Re: ACT Queens
Hi All
Today was a washing machine experience.
Quite a few got up from shooting their detail scratching their heads with no reasonable explanation as to what happened.
I usually run with the motto of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it, not applicable to rifle barrels...
As such I have retired today and headed home.
Maybe Someone else could provide some details of today’s shoot and tomorrow’s finale.
Good luck to those brave enough to finish

Tim,
We look forward to your unique commentary from the coalface, so sorry to hear we'll have to wait till your next escapade. The last thing you need at Canberra is a barrel of "questionable character". Of all the Queens ranges Canberra would have to be the biggest lottery. If you're at the wrong end of the line at the wrong time and you're a mere mortal then you will suffer. My only win at Canberra came after being last in the leadup .
Good luck to all today - you will need it.

Re: ACT Queens
Uploading of scores to the NRAA website has slowed down. However from the results so far I believe Peter Merriman (FO), Ralph Garlic (FStd) and Don Laughton (F/TR) have unassailable leads. Congratulations to all . In TR, I believe Duncan Davies is the only one who can topple Steve Negus, and he would need a 75.
Correction!! Its Jeff Eppleston in F/TR. Must have miscalinculated...

Re: ACT Queens
Congrats to Matt Paroz for taking out F Open, pipping Peter Merriman and Ben Goodwin. I'm still waiting for results to trickle in for the other disciplines.

Re: ACT Queens
I give up.
Well done Matt. You needed a 90.8 and made sure of it with a 90.9.
