first 60/10 in Victoria at a PM

#1 Postby Ned » Sun Jul 17, 2011 9:08 pm

This weekend at Warracknabeal PM, F/Class open shooter Paul Mc Carthy shoot a 60/10 at 500 yds, I think this may be the first recorded 60/10 at a prize meeting in Victoria since the introduction of ICFRA targets. He was shooting a 6.mm dasher.

So out of 91 people who have read this thread in regards to this great achievement. Not one person has offered any form of congratulations on such a magnificent achievement. Well you should all have a good look at your selves, I am appalled at every one that has read this thread and not put forward a message of congratulations. I hope one day you all have a perfect shoot and get the same response as you have given this thread.

We at the Warracknabeal club certainly congratulate Paul for his fantastic shoot. We are very proud that this happened on our range. Perhaps a few more would like to try to match Pauls score next July?

I would like to thank all those people who posted such kind words. There was very nearly another possible at the same range on the same day by Gary Hunt, unfortunately not to be. Never the less still a fanyastic shoot, a 60.9

If anyone was going to get a Sixty, Nine on a rifle range, it would be Garry Hunt.

Well done on the 60.10, is a relatively rare event.

Bruce, not many rifles will consistently shoot inside 0.5 MOA despite any amount of skill of the operator. Reality vs what people think their gear will do.
