I was not there, so PD, tell us, and ya load for those that are wanting a 7 saum, :?: AND how many rounds has that thing fired without a rechamber ? 2000 ? I think 268 was the record score :?: they tell me I have a record score at Wagga of 243.5 , so it makes that look sick, Chop,

Yes, well done. For those not familiar with the fly target, the scoring area at 500 metres is only 8.5 inches in diameter, and the 10 ring is only 1.75 inches in diameter. At Canberra, you only have to "blink" and you are out in the low scoring area, or worse still, off the paper.

id be interested to hear how many rounds hes had through his SAUM!

I've been messing around with mine lately and keeping a close eye on throat erosion by measuring OAL to lands and found that from 300-600rounds I've only had .002" erosion!! and yes i double checked even after giving the barrel a bit of JB it stayed the same. im running pritty hot loads of 2217 and was expecting a lot more than that.

Chop i told every one i dug the good barrel out of the cupboard but seeing its got 1950 rounds through it it should be in the bin as other barrels ive had have only lasted half that . this Lawton was a prick to run in and to find a load it liked but worth the persistance its been a good thing and its still shootin but im sure is gunna fail real soon . as im getting a bit more serious about Fly ive built a mobile shooting bench and my own flags as i cant read those BR flags. hopefully all this makes for a better F Class shooter with better gun control and wind reading skills.
