Cloth Badges - Looking for Cheap Reliable Supplier

#1 Postby AlanF » Mon Jan 21, 2013 5:54 pm

We've been getting badges made locally but the prices go up every year by several dollars and are now $20. Does anyone have knowledge of a reliable overseas source which is cheaper than that. I heard of badges being made in Pakistan and costing $4! But that was in 2009 and the importer is no longer contactable.

Any information appreciated.

Alan

Hi Alan, I don't know who Horsham used this year they were some of the nicest badges I 've seen.

Might be worth contacting Geoff Evans.

Cheers
Danny

Hi Alan,

At Lang Lang we have used logosunlimited from Cowes Phillip Island for several years about $12 a badge, they do a good reliable job.

Alan $12 is about the going price
Yes you could get them cheaper from OS but you would need to order a bulk quantity.
I doubt wether you would get a custom made badge for $4 if you were only ordering a few at a time.
A lot of cost is in the setup and this cost stays the same wether is 1 badge or 500.

You could get them made up in bulk and see if a local embroider will add the date and class on it for a few bucks per badge.

Some businesses now have a minimum charge gees you barely get any change form $10 for coke and a pie now days.
