#1 Postby DannyS » Sun Aug 11, 2013 8:52 pm

Had our first practice day at Bendigo, thanks to our Captain, our coach and all team participants, a very enjoyable day.

Thanks also to our excellent markers, Ron and Ross.

Also thanks to the South Bendigo RC for hosting us. Great bbq, thanks to the Davies.

Cheers
Danny

Ps thanks Cheryle and Rod for having the shop open for us.

My apologies to Noel Osbourne, for getting him to coach me through another 15 shots at 900 yards:-)

Also good to mingle with our friends on the dark side.

danny,
how did the cheerleaders go, or do they practise separately?
did you wear your team mankinis?
keep safe,
bruce.

Team WA has overcome the problem of tasmanian cold and mankinis. We are going to sunbathe intensely on our pre shoot trip to the Bahamas so our darker skin absorbs more of the tasmanian sun to keep warm. Then we have special silver foil capes to keep the heat in.

Some say pimp the rifle, but those in the know are clever enough to understand the importance of proper shooting attire.

Hi Bruce and Brad,

Seeing that it was our first practice session, the mankinis didnt come out, I think they want,to select the team on shooting skills rather than appearance and besides, we are keeping uniform out of sight, dont what anything leaked before the big match :D

The cheer squad did put in an appearance but they were distracting the f open shooters too much and had to retire to clubrooms to practice.

Cheers
Danny

or did the open shooters distract the cheer leaders?
quilted down mankinis with fur borders would suit the colder climate.
