What Omark is it?
G,day. I have an omark. The serial number is D1512. Any ideas when this was made?. Cheers.

The number would be DI ( not D1 ) and would have been manufactured around 1970 or 1971.

Barry, while you are here, can I get a larger diameter front sight assembly that will fit straight on the muzzle? I believe what I have now is the original. Cheers

You should be able to fit any foresight assembly but you may need to have a new mounting block made. If it is the original barrel it will be 3/4" diameter or 20mm for the 44B barrel ( i think )
The original foresights were somewhat small ( 16 mm from memory ) with later ones ( 44B ) at 18mm.

i have a koala 22mm that fits the dovetail.so you should be ok with getting on upgrade.

ah no mate,i can ask around if anyone else has any spares.
ps:that flat spot on the action,is dead level.you can use it to level up the sights.
