Load data: Sierra .22 90gr
Does anyone have load data on the Sierra 90gr projectile suit 5.56/1:6.5 and/or 1:7 twist, 30" barrel? If possible include powder type, charge weight, seating depth, and pressure/velocity if known; plus general commentary about accuracy success. Data applicable to Barnard/Krieger combination would be valued!

I tried the berger 90 grain in my 1 in 7 twist savage 26in varmint with no luck at all. Fliers were common. BUT It holds 1/3 moa at 300m with berger 80gr vld, sierra 80gr are not quite so tight.
I am only saying that the 90gr results were disappointing. I would get a few opinions on twist rate before jumping in , because you may need 1 in 6.5 to stabilise them, and that may tear some other projectiles apart...

i know aguy in california who loads a 90 gn berger to nearly 3000 fps with re17.
if this is true he has an ftr load that would be hard to equal with anything a 308 can dish up.
keep safe,
bruce.

Sierra 90gr; further
Not approved for NRA usage; nor is it my intention to do so, but there are other avenues to pursue experimentation and I imagine some TR shooters with 'near' compatible twist rated barrels have done so out of curiosity?
