Gday
Recently got this one from a fellow forum member.
It’s a rifle I have been waiting many years for and thought I would get a post up so the internet has some photos available.
I have searched for many hours and the info is next to none .
If anyone has info please share to create a little data base for this bit of Australian history .
Details :
MN600 Sabre L 7.62
Also has a cone 223 bolt .
Triple locking rear lugs
Maston stock I believe
Davies single stage trigger
This one has a few barrels
6.5x47 Lapua
7.62-8mm Mauser
308 win
Anyway enjoy and please get any pics of your Neisen rifles up

Re: Neilsen MN600 Sabre L
No not as yet but will be sure to post it when it arrives .
Shot the rifle on the weekend and it worked well .
Trigger is very average but will get a replacement 10oz from me Davies .
Rear lugs handled hot 6.5x47 loads with ease and did not make the brass grow .
Pretty happy so far

Re: Neilsen MN600 Sabre L
I am still awaiting a stock for mine - the barrel has been chambered in 6mm dasher - looking forward to getting it finished.

Re: Neilsen MN600 Sabre L
Davies triggers is shutting shop and becoming more of a hobby business .
If your trigger is like mine it might be time to think about a replacement sooner rather than later .
Had a hassle with mine with scope mounts or a bendy barrel
Was hard up on the end of my windage turret for 100m zero
I got it close enough to fire a 10 shot group and pack it up for next time .
Fun never ends .....

Mine has a two stage trigger, but will get it checked out.
I am using a Savage "round top" 20 MOA Ken Farrel base bedded to match the top of the action, so hopefully will negate that issue
