Today I, and another 50 or so people attended Bill Gray's 100th birthday celebrations at the Grantville Rifle Range. Bill shot F-Standard, as he does every week, and came 4th in the event.
Bill has been shooting for 85 years and doesn't look like slowing down yet. Just think of the changes that he has seen in our sport in that time.
Kind of makes our squabbles a little less important, doesn't it.
Congratulations Bill and keep them coming.

Thank you to everyone who came along to Grantville and helped Billy to celebrate his Birthday. It was a great day and Billy had a ball.
The Herald Sun newspaper published a photograph of him in the country edition on page 17, on Sunday, but unfortunately it didn't go in the city edition.
The local politicians were impressed with the turn-out, and the Mayor presented Billy with a very nice silver plate, suitably engraved, on behalf of the Bass Coast Shire, and he also presented the Club with an engraved plaque to mark the occasion. His parting remark was that he would like to visit us again to have a shot. It will be interesting to see if that happens.
