#1 Postby macguru » Mon Sep 15, 2014 8:57 pm

Is anyone else going to shoot F-Open at Coona ? Any of the country folk want to try their long range rigs on the saturday at 800m and 1000yds ?

I think i'll go , its one of our favourite parts of NSW. (My wife grew up in Coolah)

Coona OPM was a great weekend, under challenging conditions. Warm blustery winds made it very difficult to hold the 6 ring.

Congrats to all winners, but standout performances to me are
1. Jason Connolly in FB who blitzed standard with an outstanding win (Welcome to A grade Jason :))
2. Ben Emms (fullbore) for shooting the longs clean on Saturday in that wind (his Dad said: "yeah he seems to have picked it up pretty well" )
3. The Lamb on a Spit under the stars on Saturday night (thanks Mick + team)
