Any idea if this is going to clash with the Tumut 1000 which is also held in mid February?

I HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED BY AL THAT THE CORRYONG "1000' CLASHES WITH THE MASTERS GAMES AT GELLONG,

I HAVE BEEN AWARE OF THAT FOR SOME TIME BUT I DID NOT KNOW WHEN PAUL AND I DECIDED ON THAT DATE BACK IN JUNE.

wE HAVE BEEN HAVING A SHOOT AT CORRYONG ON THAT WEEKEND FORE SOME YEARS NOW AS IT TIES IN WITH THR TUMUT SHOOT AND ALSO THE LAND HOLDERS ADJECENT TO THE RANGE.

I THEREFOR REQUEST THAT AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OF THE F.CLASS SHOOTERS SEND ME AN E.MAIL AS TO THEIR PREFRENCE.

PERSONALY I WOULD RATHER 100 SHOTS OVER 1000 FOR THE WEEKEND THAN 60 OVER SHORT RANGES PRIOR TO THE WORLD MATCH AT BISLEY IN JULY, UNLESS YOUR RANGE HAS 1000YDS YOU MAY NOT GET A CHANCE TO PRACTICE THAT DISTANCE AGAIN

Greg,

Geelong went out on a limb to get F-Open included, so I'm committed to that. I was also looking forward to Corryong - any chance of changing the date?

So far there has been 80 lookers and no e.mails, It is going to be hard to please everybody.

Greg,
If you use a date to suit yourself, at least one person will be happy.
Mike.

Hi All Again.

The First dates were wrong, My Mistake, Thats what happens when you update an old Program. The Correct dates are 21 / 22 Saturday and Sunday it will all be shot at 1000 Yards.

The Other day I requested information on shooters preference so far there has been approx 148 lookers and no e.mails, as to what you guys & gals, the shooters want.

The F.class shooters asked for a 1000 Yard match, we have scheduled it Medallions are on hand, badges ordered and so far one wants the date changed and all others are struck dum.

Come on Guys and Gals get of your buts and give me some feedback, I dont care how but it would be nice if it is polite

Regards

Greg

Just to put in my 2 cents worth. I am from Geelong Rifle Club and we have tried to do the best for F-Open at the Masters Games. We do have 1000yards (900 metres) on the program as well as 300, 500, 600, 700, 800 metres, all on electronic targets.

Our Master's Games dates are fixed and it would be a shame if a clash meant that both events were poorly attended. I doubt whether anybody in the future would try for F-open at a Master's games if this fails. It was hard enough getting it on the program as it was.

Nevertheless, the will of the paying shooters will prevail.

We are in your hands

Cheers

Peter Hulett
