Very well done Richard and the FCASA!!!!
This should attract quite a few entries for this inaugural event. Hopefully I will have my F T/R rifle up and running and know which end to point down range by then.

The USA F T/R team use them and I dont think they would take them just because of sponsorship, they obviously work well.

Ian, don’t commit to shooting F/TR if you are allured by the prizes on offer. There is a Chinese whisper getting around that F-Open will have a diamond encrusted Barnard or Stolle on offer for the first hat-trick of Queen’s victories?

By the way, congrats again to all concerned in making this happen.

tim,
the rumour is partly true.
actually it is a diamond encrusted gold plated nesika model K at 1.4" diameter.
the borden bumps could not be plated due to the thickness of plating being too great to get clearance for this accuracy enhancing feature.
keep safe,
bruce.

Its included in this years SARA Queens (Oct) and entry forms will be available for download on line from here http://www.riflesa.asn.au/default.htm

There is not a link to an entry form there that I can see but I'm sure there will as the date draws closer. Ring or email SARA your questions and I'm sure they will be only too happy to anwer.

Linda is that another West Aussie coming as well as you? I really hope it gets a great turn out as there are plenty of F-Class shooters who would excel at it. One that comes immediately to mind is Adam Davies who competed with a 308W off a bipod and nearly took out F-Open at the Vic Queens this year.

Look forward to meeting you at the SARA Queens Linda and checking out how well this new discipline kicks off in Australia!

It is an extra one. We all know I will be there!!! How could I miss this!!

I will be at the Nationals next month, and cannot wait for SARA.

Looking forward to putting faces to names at both competitions.
