Long range at Coonabaraban
It's tempting Rob though I'd thought I'd give the QRA Queens a miss this year. Major obstacle is that the reloading fairies are particularly lazy in my part of the world.
Hope it's a success.

Coona was a great weekend ! I can recommend the Steak Sangas at luchtime, and the cold beer at days end
Thanks Mick...
Ranges shot were 7&800m, 1000,1100,1200&1500yds. Shooters were mainly f class S/O and match rifle.
There was a fair bit of wind but personally i learned that one of my 308 loads keeps accuracy & elevations out to 1200 yds, the max i tried them at ....
The exotic rifles shot best of course. (7mm saum with 180 bergers & 260 ackley with 140gr, 308 with 230 bergers)
I will probably go back for the comp at the end of september....

+1 for Coona, a great weekend was had by all that attended.
I just wonder if John P will be able to find his hole in the tree canopy again.
John was maxed out for elevation at 1500, so he found an aiming point in a tree about 60' above the target
then just could not stop laughing as he continued to lob his 10 whooping great 220g 308's into the target,
I think he was still laughing on his way home.
