Its expensive and well made like the Seb, but its available now from BRT. Have a look here and click on the picture of it to enlarge. http://www.benchrest.com.au/restsbags.htm#rests

G'day Ian,

I like the Farley but one feature that really sold the NEO over the Farley was the ambidexterous course elevation adjustment. I shoot L/H. This feature will make it far easier to sell If I ever need to and also it will alow me to share it with friends that shoot R/H.

You can get the Farley in right or left hand versions. A member at my club got fed up waiting for the Seb and got a left hand version of the latest Farley delivered just days after ordering. He absolutely loves it and its as well made as the SEB but is better sealed with dust protection for the bearing.

Had news today from Rob C, that I have now made my way up the waiting list to no.7. He also informed me that there is a shipment coming in from SEB before the end of the month. He couldn't tell me exactly how many rests were coming in, though indicated it would be between 6-12 units.
We will have to wait & see......

I had an email from Rob this evening. He told me the next shipment will be early August and that I'll be getting mine out of this batch. The previous email said I was #9 on the list.

ecomeat, if you are going to be using Sinclair F class feet, you will need to get them tapped for 12mm to suit the seb neo.

Might pay to get them done while you are waiting.

Cheers

I'm working on having some 12mm threaded sand feet made up to suit the neo at the moment. I'll let you know price etc as soon as I hear back from my supplier..

Thanks for that, Danny........damn good idea. I got the email today too, re being lucky with the next shipment in early August. I am lining up for my first ever Queens at the QRA in Mid August, so I am desperately hoping to have mine by then.
I'll be off to find a workshop tomorrow !!

obviously I won't be getting mine as I placed my order late Janurary 2012 so I'll get mine early 2013 or later. the promised 4 month wait when you place the order, has turned into 12 months after reading this thread. I won't be waiting past March 2013 as BRT has rests in stock.

Just after Matt, in the first week of November.
To be fair to Rob, he did tell me 4-6 months estimate, and it looks like maybe 8, so given that the delays are 100% with the Malaysian based supplier/manufacturer I can accept that it is completely out of Rob C's control. I dont think he knows till a shipment leaves Malaysia, just how many Sebs are actually being shipped, and i think his hopes of 10 or more might often turn into 5 or so. That doesn't mean that I haven't been like a cat on a hot tin roof for months, though.
Gotta get those Sinclair feet tapped today !!

Re: F-class feet.

When I ordered my Neo I asked Sebastian (via 500 fly forum) if he made the feet for them. He said he would and to order them through RobC.
I emailed Rob today to confirm that they were enroute and he replied that he has them in stock.

I don't know if that means just the set i ordered or if has multiple sets.

If anyones looking for them, it would be worth asking him.

I will have have three additional sets of custom aluminium sand feet to sell shortly ($60 p/set of 3).
They're very similar to the sinclair feet, though will have the correct M12 Thread to suit SEBS Gen1 & NEO Rests.

PM me if anyone is interested,
Regards Matt
