New Trickler base, completely new powder measure and you can dial the weight up on your phone.

This looks to be the ducks nuts...
I was looking at getting the previous version but read some posts from users that indicated suspect weight accuracy of the A&D, whether it was the 120i in particular I'm not sure but I decided to hold off for a while. Glad I did now, this seems to be accurate and less expensive ++, all the same I'll wait for some real life user reports.

It still uses the same scales however. What and where did you hear anything suspect about A&D scales? I would be very surprised they are used in a lot or more so nearly always a laboratory environment. This would be a blessing to A&D a public retail marketplace from Labs only to general public at least in the US.

I don’t think you’ll find any inaccuracies in the AnD scale, the zero will creep however if the scale is not “warmed up” prior to use. I try to turn mine on 3-4 hours before use.

Yes, I was always under the impression that the AnD were very accurate and suspected any issues were due to a lack of warm up.
I leave my current (cheap) scales powered on all the time to eliminate that problem.

I always power mine up at least 1 hour before use.
The only problem I have had with mine is that in the afternoon the sun moves to a position where the sunlight streams in my reloading room window and if hot enough (or the clouds clear) I get a bit of drift. I believe the scales have temperature compensation but I think if the temperature rise is too fast the compensation doesn't react quickly enough.
My solution is to pull the curtains and prop a big square of cardboard over the window.
I have left my scales on for up to 8 hours and have seen no drift.

Are you using the powder thrower also??
If you have, how is it performing??
I'm looking at going down the same path. The scales on my RCBS Chargemaster 1500 have just started to play up and I've been informed by Natchez that you cannot buy the scales only now as they have been discontinued.

Yes, I use the whole thing (up grade was posted the other day so fingers crossed that it will arrive soon!) I mainly use 2208 so I always have 2208 in the auto throw and If I need 2209 or 8208 I unplug the auto throw, replace the powder in the trickler and manually throw the base charge. I also have two area 419 powder cups that I spent a very long time filling so that they are exactly the same weight (better than 1mg) so when I'm in a rush, one is being filled whilst I load the next

All the flash "upgrades" and still running bronze bushes instead of bearings and a O ring drive belt instead of bearings and a timing belt.

Over engineering can be as bad as under engineering.
My trickler spout bound up with a bit of powder, all that happened is the nozzel stopped and the oring slipped. Had there been a toothed belt the stepper motor would have stalled, which, depending on the driver could be worse,,,, or nothing. It is far easier to make a vee pully than a toothed one though and easier to source a replacement oring that a special toothed belt.
