Hello guys
I am looking for a mid range borescope from $400 -$800 in value. This is just for personal use & for use by feloow club members. Can anyone advise me of a good brand & where to get it from?

Snaps22,

Its close to the top of your price range, but I'm not aware of any other brand actually.

I bought a Hawkeye Deluxe with the 90 degree eyepiece from Brunos about 10 months ago. I looked long and hard and they were the cheapest by a good bit. easy to deal with, had it in stock and was posted the next day.

The 90 degree adaptor is incredibly useful for inspecting heavy barrels without undue stress and strain.! It might be ok holding a featherweight up to inspect it looking straight down the bore, but you will get very sick of it, very quickly, with a typical target barrel weight. Get the deluxe kit with the 90 degree adaptor and you will never regret it.

Why would you be holding the rifle while inspecting it? Good way of damaging the borescope.

Seems like you should be advising Gradient Lens Corp , who make the Hawkeye Borescope , re how they should be used, because they haven't got a clue apparently, going on the video on precision shooting on their website at www.gradientlens.com/precisionshooting where they show a straight focus borescope without the 90 degree adaptor being used.
