Do the omega trickler mob ship to Aus or do you need a freight forwarder to send them?

Brad
Mine came direct from the company.
That was early last year. I would just email them. From memory it was fast service.

I ordered one through Sinclairs, as part of an order, but they eventually refused to ship it because it had 2 x AA batteries.
I suggested they throw the batteries in the bin and ship the Omega without them,, but that wasn't allowed either.
Bought them online direct from the company like Cam just suggested and they were here about a week later !
Great service behind a great product.

I've got 3 off Sinclairs over the last year with different orders, and have also had no problems.

Recently got mine from Sinclairs. Arrived with no hassle but no batteries. Fired it up and it was defective. Sent unhappy email to Omega (didn't bother with Sinclairs due to unsatisfactory responses in the past) and within 1 day Omega despatched a total replacement. Absolutely marvellous service.

Yeh had the same issue from Sinclairs/Brownells with real simple things like QD swivels (Michaels) and a Hoppes Bore Snake. The items were part of a larger order and just were not there - no explanation given. I was ANNOYED so pressed them for a reason and eventually they advised that the company supplying those items prevented Sinclairs/Brownells exporting them as part of their supply agreement when there existed agencies in the countries they were potentially being exported to. Brownells sent me an Excel spread sheet of the brands concerned and I think most of them were ATK companies. This issue has also come about by agencies in countries complaining to the US manufacturers about being bypassed by internet sales.

If they didn't put such a high markup on things we might be a bit more inclined to shop locally. As an example, I've had T/C Contender barrels delivered to my post box from the US for LESS THAN HALF what I'd pay here. I know - economies of scale blah, blah, blah but that strikes me as excessive. What price patriotism?

I wouldn't mind the markup if they actually held stock! Most of the time all they will do is place the internet order themselves then charge you for the privilage!
