#1 Postby Tim L » Tue Mar 12, 2024 3:41 pm

Just running off a couple of test prints.
Available to order soon.
Hoping to get them out for $25 + shipping

I've also noticed that the sim card slot is on top so I'm assuming its not waterproof.
For the diehard amongst us that shoot in the rain I'll be putting together a top shroud.
Probably about $5.

OK so $25 was a bit ambitious. Not that anyone wants my problems but it's harder than it might seem.

$30 + shipping (shipping is $10.60 for up to 3 boxes)

The little box at the top is a "quick drop" box. I stuffed one in a pocket of my range bag so I can just drop the Garmin in it and protect the buttons and screen.

$5 each may not seem worth the postage but for $15, 60 it protects you $1000 investment from that 1 time you were in a rush !!
I can fit these in with any orders of 2 or 1 proper box.

I will be doing different colours, ask and I'll let you know

Sim Card slot?? What sim card slot?
Buttons, yes, raised divider between OK & Power, yes, Sim Card slot…. No
Waterproof flap door on side for charging port, yes.
Here is a quote about the Xero C1 and the weather:
“The unit is rated to an IXB7 level of water resistance, meaning it can withstand being submerged for up to 30 minutes in water that’s a meter deep.”
It would seem that the weather cap is a bit redundant….
The box however is looking good and considering one in place of the canvas pouch that it currently travels in.

Thanks for the correction
I would probably have looked a bit closer b4 forging ahead I thought that divider was the end of a sim card #-o
