I've been looking at this chambering for probably no good reason, however it dose interest me as a match rifle type cartridge for 1000yds +
Unprimed brass from 1 supplier is $145 per 25
Could be an expensive exercise!
Just wondering if anyone knows of a reamer in OZ

To small Tim, I am being convinced to build a 30-378WBY for 500m Fly and 1000yd Heavy Gun..........

Hi Tim
Yep got a reamer and barrels , how many would you like ?? I'd suggest 2, one to get a load and then 1 for "A" Queens. That should get it out of your system.

I will take those thoughts on board and let you know
So there's at lest one other lunatic then since you have the reamer.
My guess is for a hunting gun?

Re: 28 Nosler
i have a 7mm stw.
shot 2 ranges of 10 to count, and han noticeable throat erosion.
it is a great round for certain hunting applications, but not for target shooting.
if you go hunting with these high speed rounds, controlled expansion bullets are required for all but varmints.
in fact my small game bullet is a nosler partition, and bigger game requires barnes x.
keep safe,
bruce.

Re: 28 Nosler
How about the 6.5/300 weatherby (150gr SMK) for the mids, and the 30/378 weatherby for the longs ??
(The 30/378 weatherby is the one on the right )
