Anyone have loads that they are using in their 6Br and or 6BRAI {I have both} and are willing to share, using Copper Head 103 grain projectiles?
Also some favorite loads for Berger 105 VLD, 105 Hybrids and the 108's.
Anyone tried the 115 gr Bergers in either 6BR or 6BRAI?
I have a couple of boxes and wondered if anyone found a good load.
Loads with jam or jump details would be helpful as I have found that the Bergers seem to have favorite jump or jam points.
I'm using CCI 450's but do have some BR-4's too.
Have used 2206, 2208, BM2 & RL-15 but thinking about some RL-16 and I also have some 2209 that I have not tried as yet.
Cheers,
Fire Dog

31.5 of Re15 with 105VLD or 31.3 with 108 Bergers.

29.7 or 8 of 2208, 105 VLD, 5-15thou Jam. Lapua brass, Rem 7 1/2 primers. Worked an absolute treat in both our 6BRs

Jammed, I shoot everything jammed !! At least 0.010"
That data is for BRAI.

Thanks Matt.... It is very tardy of me in replying to you but things have been very busy now that I can get back to the range.
I do have a 6BRAI as well as 2 6BR's and will give your loads a try soon... I have LOTS of Berger's in two varieties of 105's and also a lot of 108's
Have been using my Eliseo R-5 in Open F and have had some absolute spot on load advice from "Rushty" on Shooter's Forum in the USA {he lives in WA here in OZ} for those 103 Copper Head's.
29.3gr 2208, CCI-450's, .008 jam. Absolutely magic shooting 10 rnd groups of 1.5" at 300mt and still less or just over 2" at longer distances up to 600mt on a good day...

Re: Share 103gr CopperHead 6BR loads+Berger loads
Tried the 103gr Copperheads in my 6BRAI, couldn't hit a parked airplane with it, just wouldn't group, jumped or jammed. Bergers...different story. 105gr VLDs, jam them as per Matt's advice - 30.5gr of RL15 nets me around 2960fps. Berger 108s, 30.6gr of RL15 for approximately the same speed but jumped anywhere from 10-20 thou, those bullets aren't fussy.

I shoot a Dahser. For me the Hybrids work well jumped between 0.010 and 0.020”
I haven’t used 6mm VLD’s but my experience with 7mm and 6.5mm VLD’s is to go into the lands about 0.015” and work from there.
RE15 yields good velocity and shoots small, I’m sure it would perform well in the BRAI as well.
