+ 1 for the NF 12x42 BR
I'm very happy with mine
Fclass scope choice

Further to my previous post, I now own a:
1. sightron 8-32 1/8 clicks target dot and
2. Nightforce 12-42 1/8 clicks DD reticle
Comparison :
1. The image quality is similar on both. not much difference (march is better but these are both fine)
2. the added magnification of the NF is very useful on an accurate rifle (I have it on my Dasher)
3. BUT The adjustment range is only 40moa with this model. Luckily, I have it on a 30moa rail so it could be used out to 1200 yds, but its zeroed at 300 with only 2.5moa travel left so 100yds would be awkward (i dont see that as a problem at this stage, as its an f class rifle).
4 Also, the NF has only 6moa per revolution but thats not a big deal imho.
5.Build quality. You can feel the NF is miles ahead of the Sightron in quality, its like comparing a hyundai and a mercedes.
6. Features. The only extra feature the NF has is the illuminated reticle, its a cool extra but only time will tell if i use it of not.
cheers Andrew
